About this Report

This web-based report describes Colgate-Palmolive's global sustainability programs and performance in the 2008 calendar year.

Unless otherwise indicated, this website includes data from Colgate-Palmolive-owned manufacturing and technology centers around the world, representing approximately 95 percent of global production and 100 percent of research and development facilities under our ownership.

We are pleased to note that in 2006 Colgate-Palmolive purchased 84% of Tom's of Maine, a natural personal and oral care company. For further information on programs and policies at Tom's of Maine, click here.

Colgate has chosen not to publish a printed version of this report to preserve resources and to ensure accurate and timely reporting of information. Previous reports are available for download here:

We update our report on an annual basis with periodic revisions throughout the year as needed.
